Ula Bloom paints each design by hand, then prints it in the USA on FSC certified paper. Blank inside, with an envelope. Every card funds a day of literacy education through Room to Read.

For the friend who keeps the gin in the freezer. For the milestone birthday. For the martini drinker who will laugh at the pun.

The maker

Ula Bloom

United States

Emily Kopcik Barreto designed textiles in New York for years, for Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie and Tory Burch, before she started painting cards.

Every design is a hand-painted illustration first, then printed in the United States on FSC certified paper. Each purchase funds a day of literacy education through Room to Read.

The textile years show. Her patterns run right to the edge instead of floating in the middle of the card.
