Salon Evenings

Once a month the shop stays open after it closes.

A subject, and someone who knows it well. A maker who came in from upstate with the thing they make. A florist who arranges while she talks. A wine importer who brought six bottles and opinions about all of them.

No presentation, no slides, no name tags. A room, a drink in your hand, and a reason to stay longer than you meant to.

What happens

Doors at seven. Something poured. Someone talks for twenty minutes, badly and well, about a thing they have spent years on. Then everyone stays and handles the objects and argues about them.

The garden is open when the weather allows.

How to come

Evenings are small on purpose. We announce them to the Good Taste Club first, and they tend to go before they reach anywhere else.

No charge for most of them. When there is one it covers what is being poured.

Coming up

The next evening goes to the Good Taste Club before it goes anywhere else. The signup is at the bottom of this page.
