Two decks of cards in a rigid case covered in PU leather, soft neutral, each deck in its own seat.

A wooden box under the covering with a paperboard structure inside. Six inches by four, an inch and three quarters deep. Small enough for a weekend bag, solid enough to leave out on the bar cart.

For the bridge four with a standing date. The couple on the sleeper train. The host who upgrades everything, eventually.

Annette Gårdö and Patrik Westerdahl left advertising in Stockholm in 2017 to make the things they had been looking for and not finding. Their term for it is functional decoration.

A photo album handsome enough to leave on the table. A backgammon set nobody needs to put away before guests arrive. Album pages are FSC certified, acid free and heavy enough to hold a print flat.

We took the games first. They get left out on tables instead of shelved.
