Emily Schuman worked on Lavune for close to two years before she sold a single one, going through scents, vessels and packaging until it all agreed.

Soy blend wax, hand-poured in small batches in Los Angeles. She numbers the scents rather than naming them after a mood. N˚04. N˚11.

Quieter than most candles at the price. A big house can take a loud candle. A New York apartment cannot.
