Beautiful Briny Sea

Suzi Sheffield started blending salt in Atlanta in 2011, by hand, with a mortar and pestle. The studio is still called the Salt Shack.

The blends are made in small batches with locally grown herbs and foraged things, and they run the whole distance from black truffle fleur de sel to one called Magic Unicorn.

Salt is the cheapest way to change how somebody cooks.

Ships from the shop in the West Village within one to two business days. Or collect at 555 Hudson: most pickup orders are ready within four hours and we hold them for seven days.
