Larmorie started as a leather shop in the Alésia quarter of Paris in 1968.

The wallets and coin purses are made in Graulhet, in the Tarn, which the French call the capital of their leather trade, by a family in its third generation at the bench. Full-grain cowhide, and seven different leathers across the range, including vegetable-tanned and one made from marine hides.

Every style is named after a French man. Anatole, Hector, Gustave. The address holder is Jules.
