HA KO incense is pressed from washi paper and made on Awaji Island, Japan, by Kunjudo, an incense house of more than a century, for Morihata. Light the tip, blow out the flame, and the leaf smolders for five to seven minutes on a heat-proof dish. Autumn & Fennel is dry and bright at once, right for the weeks the windows start to close.
