Twig New York works out of a studio in Long Island City. The china is made in South Korea, which is not incidental: they are also the American distributor for Hankook, which has been making fine china there since 1943.

Bone china, with the gold rims painted by hand in 24 karat. The brand says the brush strokes vary from piece to piece, and they do.
