Bee Tumbler, Clear
A single pressed-glass tumbler from La Rochère, made in eastern France by a glassworks running since 1475. Short, honest, built to stack. This is the glass that lives on the open shelf and gets reached for first, orange juice at seven, tap water at noon, two fingers of something brown when the day finally lets go.
Pick it up and you feel the difference at once, a real heft, the faint ripple where the mold pressed the glass. The Napoleonic bee rides raised on the side, the kind of detail nobody points out and everybody notices by the third pour.
In clear, or in Émeraude, Olive, Bleu nuit and Aubergine, collected one at a time or a whole shelf at once. For the friend setting up a first kitchen that is finally their own. For anyone who thinks the thing you use every day should be the thing you love most.
Pressed French glass, dishwasher safe. Sold individually. Made in France by La Rochère.
