Bay Leaf Wreath Trivet
A round trivet cast from real bay leaves arranged into a wreath. Pewter with antique bronze finish, weighty enough that it doesnt move when you set a hot pot on it. The leaves are individually cast, then assembled.
Use it under a roast pot at the dinner table. Park a tea kettle on it. Hang it on a wall when the kitchen is between meals. The piece reads as both functional and sculptural.
For the cook whose Sunday roast is a tradition. For a wedding gift that earns the kitchen, not the closet. For the friend whose table is set with attention.
Cast in New York by Michael Michaud.
