The middle size of a pitcher southern France has poured from since the 1700s: pulled handle, wide belly, a lip that does not drip.

Hand-thrown in clay for Sir/Madam in Sri Lanka, eight inches tall in a warm terra-cotta, the size for a table of two or a fistful of market flowers. Each one varies slightly, and carries the studio's printed mark on the underside.
