A stoneware plate with a scalloped rim in a brown reactive glaze that pools darker in the scallops and breaks lighter on the edge, so no two match.

Sold in three sizes. The medium measures 6.75 by 5.75 inches, the size for cake, cheese or bread. Mixed with plain white, a stack of them makes a table look collected rather than bought as a set.
